BRCA Renewal due – 45 days left…

Your BRCA license will expire at the end of the year but you’ll be pleased to know that the BRCA website is now accepting renewals for the 2017 season. The bad news is that the cost has increased this year to £20 😐. Apparently they have improved the level of cover provided by the insurance which is why the cost has increased. Head over to www.brca.org and get your BRCA membership renewed today 😀. The club cannot join for you. It’s your responsibility as a racer to join the BRCA if you want to continue racing in 2017…

Thank you to everyone that came along today. We hope you all enjoyed it. As always the help setting up and packing up is very much appreciated 🐳. Kyle created a challenging little track (which may have resulted in him being removed from 1 or 2 peoples christmas lists) but once we got the hang of it, it proved to be a rewarding drive 😀. 39 Drivers spread accross the 3 classes made for a great days racing 😉.

Another busy week at the FORCC which included a full heat of 10 short course trucks 🚛. We’ve started to tidy up the driving standards in the SCT class as is was becoming a bit of a demolition derby. Last night proved that it is possible to have 10 trucks in a heat and get some really good racing in without the destruction. Well done all you truckers!

Thank you to everyone that came along to support the first round of this years FORCC Winter Series. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves 🙂 This years winter series is being very kindly supported by Schumacher Racing.

There were 38 entries accross the 3 classes and some hard fought victories throughout the finals. There’s plenty of time to get involved if you missed it today as there are still 5 of the 6 rounds remaining 😀

Week 1

The new championships started this week and it was week 10 of the trucks. This Sunday is round 1 of the FORCC Winter Series. Doors open 7:30 am on Sunday with practice from whenever the track is built. We will aim to be racing at around 9:30 with 4 qualifiers and 3 leg finals for all 🙂 There will also be the usual hotdogs available for lunch 😀

The new championship should have started this week but someone (who wasn’t me…) forgot to bring the transponders which meant a few people missed out on some of their laps. In light of this it seemed a little unfair to start the championship this week. Providing someone (who isn’t me…) remembers to bring the transponders next week, we will kick off the new championship then and it will run up until Christmas. Next week is also truck week.

Out and about…

This Sunday is round 1 of the Winter Whip series down at 1066 in Hastings. In case you haven’t heard, shock protectors are now mandatory there since they replaced their carpet. The FORCC winter series starts the following Sunday and Barhams final round of their Summer series is the week after.
