Winter Series Results Updated
Thank you to everyone that came along today and as always, thank you to everyone one that pitched in to help in one form or another.
So that’s the first one of the year done and dusted and it was truck week too 😯 . Thank you to everyone that got their BRCA membership sorted out before the meeting. We only had 3 people that I had to join online for them on their behalf. It’s so easy to do even Ollie managed to join on his phone while he was waiting to book in ! 😛 It’s Round 4 of the Winter Series this Sunday and you will all need BRCA membership for that too and that includes all the youngsters that don’t normally come on Wednesday’s as well!
Doors open at 7 for those helping to setup, Practice from about 8 and qualifying from 9:30. A few of the regular helpers can’t make this one so if anyone else would like to rock up early and help it would be much appreciated 🙂
What an excellent turnout last night for the Christmas festivities. Lots of people and a ton of food 🙂 We hope you all enjoyed youselves and a huge thank you from all of us to all of you for supporting the club throughout the year! Thanks also the XtremeRC and Ralls Racing for their continued support of the club.
No racing next week and we look forward to seeing you all back 6th of January 2016 with your shiney new 2016 BRCA membership cards 😛
Marshall giving a good left hook!
Your faithful servants! Thank you for wine, chockies and flowers 🙂
Team 3 (A.K.A The winning team!)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the FORCC 🙂
So we tried something a little different this week. 2 heats of best 5 consecutive lap qualifying and a 6 minute final. Personally I liked it although the best 5 might be better as best 4 or even best 3 laps due to the short nature of our track.
It’s time for another one of our ‘world famous’ Christmas team meetings 🙂
We don’t have the old red handout transponders anymore so be aware that I’ll will need to scan and assign everybodies PT’s before we can start…

So that’s 3 down with 3 to go! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun 😛 There was some cracking racing in some of the finals. Thank you to everybody that came along today and of course a big thank you as always to all those that help set up and/or pack up.
A huge Thank You also to Suzie and Jo for stepping in and running the canteen today. Your efforts were both tasty and appreciated 🙂

So in the run up to Christmas we’ll have a few non-championship meetings and we’ll mix up the format a little just to keep you on your toes 😛 . This week was FTQ Qualifying. Next week is Truck week and regardless of what format the buggies are running, the Trucks will run to the Normal round by round qualifying since it’s the 12th and final round of the championship.
Edit: I’ve just spotted the SCT championship hasn’t been updated for a couple of months. I’ll get that sorted out at the weekend. – Done 30/11/15
For those of you that missed last night (and a reminder for those that were there), we asked for as many people as possible to get there for 6PM to help get the Astroturf out. The Astroturf isn’t on the stage, it’s in the back room 😯 which means it’s a lot harder to get to. We also need extra bodies to stay behind at the end to help put it back into the back room at the end of the evening… Please 🙂 We will also need to do the same the following week to get it out again but it will go back onto the stage as normal afterwards.
I will gently remind you that the only reason the meeting wasn’t just cancelled was because people volunteered to be there for 6 to help…
Your BRCA membership will expire in 36 days…

Don’t leave it to the last minute. I did mine online a couple of weeks ago and the membership cards took about a week to arrive. If you don’t want to do it online, you can download the form, print it off and post it along with a cheque. If you have an old-skool short membership number that you want to keep, you must renew by the end of this year to keep it!
2/12/15 – 6PM Start for getting the Astro out, Truck week, Non-championship buggies.
